The foam beetle is an ultimate bluegill catcher. In the summer time I will go down to a local pond that has a lot of bluegill. I will tie on a Foam beetle and I catch on average 30 bluegill. One time I even caught 64 bluegill in one day with the foam beetle. This thing is my go to for bluegill. I use this fly as a Trout fly sometimes.
